Terms &
Conditions
These terms explain how to use Visit Afghanistan, what our information covers and what to check before making travel plans.
Visit Afghanistan is an independent tourism and cultural information platform created to help international visitors and Afghans discover Afghanistan. It is not an official Afghan government website and does not represent a government authority. Public institutions and Afghan authorities are welcome to contact us about corrections, official information updates, content removal or update requests, collaborations, tourism partnerships, institutional cooperation, potential acquisition or other official cooperation. Please send these enquiries to gov@lets-visit-afghanistan.com.
Our content is provided for general tourism and informational purposes. We aim to share useful, accurate information, but details can change, especially visas, entry requirements, embassies, safety, weather, money and exchange information, Internet & SIM information, transportation and Getting Around Afghanistan, hotels, restaurants, local guides and tour operators, opening hours, prices and travel conditions. Before making travel decisions, independently verify important or time-sensitive information with the relevant official authority or provider. Use the official sources linked throughout the website, including the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs embassy and consulate directory.
No. We cannot guarantee that every piece of information will always be complete, current or suitable for every traveler. You remain responsible for verifying travel requirements, assessing your circumstances and making your own travel decisions.
A hotel, restaurant, guide, attraction or company appearing on Visit Afghanistan does not automatically mean that we officially endorse, operate or guarantee that business. A listing alone does not indicate a commercial relationship. Contact providers directly to verify their identity, services, availability, prices and booking conditions before making arrangements.
Businesses explicitly marked as Partner, Verified, Recommended by Visit Afghanistan or similar may have a direct relationship with us. Currently, Tea Bro Tours is an official tourism partner. Other businesses, hotels, restaurants and guides should not be treated as partners unless explicitly marked as such. A partnership or label does not guarantee a provider’s services; check the details directly before booking.
Visit Afghanistan links to external websites and platforms, including government websites, embassies, hotels, restaurants, tourism operators, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat and other third-party platforms. Following an external link takes you outside Visit Afghanistan. We do not control third-party websites or their content, availability, security, privacy practices or services. Please review the third party’s own terms and policies before using its website or services.
Everyone is welcome to use Visit Afghanistan for legitimate tourism, cultural, educational and informational purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, abuse forms or services, use the platform for illegal activity, or attempt to damage or disrupt the service.
VAFI is Visit Afghanistan’s AI-powered Afghanistan tourism assistant on Ask Afghanistan. It uses an external AI provider to help with destinations, culture, history, food and practical travel information. Each message is limited to 1,500 characters. You may send a maximum of 10 messages in any rolling 10-minute period and 50 messages per day (a rolling 24-hour period). AI responses may contain mistakes or outdated information. VAFI is informational and does not replace official travel advisories, government information or professional advice, including legal, visa or safety advice. Verify important information with the relevant official authority before acting on it. VAFI cannot guarantee travel safety, availability or bookings, and cannot make bookings or contact providers on your behalf. You must not misuse or spam VAFI or attempt to bypass its message limits or security protections. Do not intentionally use it for harmful, illegal or unrelated requests, including cyber abuse, instructions for weapons or explosives, criminal activity or other harmful activity.
